Euro 2012 Final Draw

The Euro 2012 draw has been done yesterday at The Palace of Arts, Kiev. England was the last randomly picked in the draw and placed in Group D with France, Sweden, and host team Ukraine. Not really tough, well if compared with group B. But just like Kenny Dalglish said following FA cup draw:
"We'll never be happy with a draw against anybody. We're happy with wins"
GROUP A: Poland, Greece, Russia, Czeh Republic
GROUP B: Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Portugal
GROUP C: Spain, Italy, Rep. of Ireland, Croatia
GROUP D: Ukraine, Sweden, France, ENGLAND

Unfortunately, all of 3 England matches in group 3 take place in Ukraine while England base camp in Poland. Come out the question whether England want to move the base to Ukraine or not and here is Fabio Capello's reaction on this:
"Absolutely not. It is better to find a good place. The facilities are really good. We will stay in Krakow and we will fly."

Anyway I watched the draw and also reading my twitter timeline at the same time. Lots of people tweeting about the draw, predicting who will be with who, where is the group of death, etc. And even I've found some people saying that they want to be in the same group with England cos it will be easier for them to get through. And some even joking 'who is England losing against already?' haha. Well, we allways have hopes every year. BEL1EVE. #ComeOnEngland

it's me again. a little bit more personal :)

hello! it's been a while since I wrote here. it's uni to be blame. 1st semester at university.. not as easy as I thought. plenty of reasons I can't tell it here (well, who cares tho). But I'm just so sure that I miss my high school so much. friends, teachers, and even (can't believe I'm saying this).. maths! yep I miss the shit of high school's maths. well, think I've said it for a million times that I really wanna study in the UK (thru scholarship ofcourse cos I kno it'll cost much. don't compare with in Indonesia!) wish I can make it. still grateful tho I'm accepted in the best university in Indonesia, thank God. ok that's it about my debut as a uni student! hope everything goes fine.

now move on to family life.. I bet everyone in this world ever wished to turn back time. that's what I want the most right now. people has changed. and so has life. I really miss the moment when I was a little girl.. when me & my dad were so close each other and when my brother was a cute little boy who always made his sister laugh.. And I believe it's not only me in this house who wants to go back to the past. few days ago my mum suddenly put the family albums out of the drawer. she gave it to me and we stared at them with smile.. Gosh how beautiful my life back then. I tried not to cry while looking at the pics cos I know it cud've been an #awkwardmoment with mum haha. lovely photos of my fam :) *big hug*
Since it's ablsolute impossible to get back to beautiful past life.. I only wish the best for this family. I love my family so much may God bless us :)

there's this song which makes me cry everytime I listen to it. old song. called 'Andai Aku Besar Nanti (When I Grow Up) by Sherina. it's for you dearest mum & dad :)

The Happiest Wednesday Ever

Last Wednesday, June 29th was probably the best Wednesday ever happened to me. Why? I've PASSED the SNMPTN test. Then why is it so special? sure it is so special. I've never had a test like this before. not only because I didn't cheat at all, but also because it was like the gamble between life and death lol. Seriously it was! thousands student participated in this test, many of them with their big and smart brain, and me, a girl who knows nothing about Maths. At first I wanted to go for International Relations University of Indonesia but then I realised it is TOO hard for me. I was being realistic hey! It needs at least the average of 57% of the test result, while I only stucked in 39% in every Try Outs. No worries, I got the alternative! I love foreign languages, so, I chose German Literarture University of Indonesia. Its passing grade is 43% so I think I have bigger opportunity in German Literature. I studied so haaaaard for this, day and night, nomatter if it's rainy or stormy lol no hour without studying. And I didn't forget to pray! I knew I was fighting for 20 chairs, yeah only 20 chairs, against hundreeds students who want German Literature. So I didn't stop studying and praying. Here's the result:

I CRIED when I read this. and I screamed. and told mum and dad that I'm accepted in University of Indonesia. They hugged me, we were in HAPPY TEARS. Thanks God :)

10 Minutes That Shook The Young Lions

It has been a few days ago but I just can't get rid of 'late heartache' that night in Denmark. I was pretty confident that the young lions will secure the semi final spot that night. The joy and happiness exploded in minute 80 when England scored. And then I was like 'oh come on ref FFS blow yer cute whistle this game need to be ended!' BUT BANG! 5 minutes later Czechs scored. It left me speechless, breathless, and feel like a blade cuts right through my heart. The victory was ALREADY in front of our boody eyes, hellooo! I couldn't stand to watch it again, too hurts. I went to my bed, check out my twitter's timeline and read bunch of tweets saying 'it's 2-1 hahahah england yer shit like always blahblahblah.' what the heck Czech scored again? well fine, I was swearing much and wishing the very worst to The Republic of Czech U21, and, cried.

"It is sad too that this will be the last time this group will be together at U21 level, with the likes of Frankie, Fabrice Muamba and a few others all being too old for the next qualifying campaign now. There are still quite a few of us though that will be eligible, so we will have to do our utmost to make sure that we bring that trophy home in two years time." -GK Jason Steele

I cried when I read the last chapter of his Euro 2011 blog. Those lads are talented, and fresh, and deserved a trophy. I'm gonna miss the moment they were together in the team. The banters when Muamba's strong shoot causing a big damn headache to Jason, Henners (Lansbury) sprayed deodorant on Jason's toothbrush, and Jason's revenge to Henners when he put the toothpaste all around Henners' toilet seat. Haha fun moments that I'm gonna miss. The lads are still young, though, so there's still many times to roar

I know I'm not an English lass but I really got England in my heart. So obviously I really want to see England (both in seniors and juniors) to win something. That night reminds me of last year's world cup when England met Germany in the quarter finals. I was in the bus with my high school mates going for trip in Bali so I couldn't watch it. I followed the live score using my cell phone. When the germans scored their 2nd, I couldn't stand to cry. Sat next to my friend, Inno, borrowed her shoulders to cry on. I didn't care what everybody think of me that night at bus. I just wanted to go home. The day after in the morning, my mum phoned me just to tell me that England lost (well, she knows me so well) and wanted to know if I'm okay, haha, mum seriously, you don't know me that well then! ofcourse I was NOT okay. I told him that I want to go home, screw this trip. But then she scolded me and said 'forget England, there's always another year, so dear go have fun at Bali!'

The (true) story above can never enough to describe how much I love England. After Czech defeat, I was so confused and kept asking myself why the England national football team have to be like this? what's so wrong? England have many, many talented players playing in their football club in the premier league. But they just can't seem work (well) together as a team in England. Until I read my friend's tweets:

"2010 World Cup + U21 Euros + Football Governance Inquiry = Real Change or More of the Same? If you care about our national side get involved. In every other footballing country except England the international game holds a higher priority than the professional league. From 2000-2006 the business plan of every Bundesliga club was "put on hold" while the German FA rebuilt the national side. See our problem?"

I think he has a point there. Well, I am a GREAT fan of English Premier League, but yeah I guess England really holds much higher priority for the proffesional league than their international game. But it doesn't mean I expect the otherwise. I want England to be the best both in the proffesional league and international team side. I keep telling my self that it's only a matter of time. I believe, though, there will come the time when England reach their best like they did in 1966. Jules Rimet still gleaming!

England U21 European Cup's Crucial Game

The U21 European Championship continues. Young Lions, currently on 3rd on Group B, will have a crucial game this Sunday when they play the 2nd place Czech Republic. They only got 2 points from their 2 matches on Group B. I don't know why the manager Stuart Pearce still placed Albrighton as a substitute. I'd personally love to see him start Albrighton and also Cleverley. Surely they will do well! But whoever starts, whatever the starting line-up would be like, I want no excuses, GOTTA WIN THIS MATCH.
I was like, WHAT THE FUCK, when I knew that Czech Republic have only lost once in the bloody last 2 years. Got a big heavy stone in my head when I knew that beause omfg England really need to get 3 points to reach the semi finals spot! if it ends draw, say goodbye. if lose, commit suicide. PMSL but seriously, Queen, bless 'em all!

Well, to get some of these butterflies out of my stomach for a while, I found this (quite funny) video of England U21 shooting practice.

It's only an ordinary shooting practice but, in the last minute of this video you can see how unfortunate ENG 2nd GK Jason Steele was! Fabrice’s shot cannoned of the post and hit him in the face. Even worse is, he wasn't even in goal. McCarthy was! haha. Anyway, more of this goalkeeper, he is also an England U21 blog sensation.
He said, "We just need everyone backing us, and the bit of criticism we have had has put some fire in our bellies to go out and prove the doubters wrong."
Well yeah you all better prove it. COME ON YOUNG LIONS!

2011/2012 Barclays Premier League Fixtures Released

The Barclays Premier League new fixtures released on Friday, or we - the twitter peeps - call it #FixtureFriday. And the 5 European Cups winner, Liverpool obviously, will begin the new season by hosting Sunderland at Anfield. It's an early test for our current signing, Jordan Henderson, who is also on England U21 squad, to prove that 20m pounds is nothing compared to his skill -lol- because he will be facing his former club in his very first game for Liverpool in the Premier League. A week after, Liverpool will be travelling to Emirates Stadium to beat -well, they suppose to- the Mr.Bean a.k.a Arsene Wenger's guns. Emirates, where our captain Stevie G finds it a difficult place to go and we haven't won there for a while.

"It is a massive test early on. It's nice to have a home game first, the fans will be right up for it. Hopefully we will have a few new signings in and we can start the season with three points which would give us the confidence to then go and get a good result at Arsenal. It's a tough first two games but I'm really looking forward to them and I think we can get two positive results." Stevie G.

Our last Premier League game for 2012 is against the promotion club, Swansea, and 3 points will be deffinitely packed home to Anfield, I guess. Hopefully, SO HOPEFULLY, It will lead us to stand proudly in the very TOP of table and sing like a boss Liam Gallagher "Whooo the fuck are Man.United?" AMEN.
Well, it's still MORE than a bloody month tho but I just can't wait for the new season! How boring weekend is (for single ones, maybe) without BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE.

COME ON LIVERPOOL! We've got to hit the ground running.

the story is about an orphan going across Europe to reach Liverpool's Champions League 2005 final. It will be released this July and I just can't wait! by only watching the trailer I know I wud love this movie so much. It's Liverpool themed movie so.... deffinitely will be bloody interesting!

Eurovision Song Contest 2011 Second Semi Final

The Second Semi Final has done! poorly, like usual, I couldn't watch the performances LIVE. So I have to wait til BBC posts the videos in YouTube. hell bitch, StarWorld Asia why don't you broadcast it instead of that American Idol? well, not that I don't like American Idol... I like it, really! only I'm boreeeeed there's no more Simon and Paula you know! AND, Pia is eliminated already. She's deffinitely the best among those contestants. What the hell did America vote? lol but no worries much we still have James, right?

HEY!
what's the title of this post, by the way? alright.

on May 12th, the second semi final was held. though this year Eurovision is in Germany, we have A Friend In London! lol it's Denmark I mean. Actually, I didn't like it when the first time my cute-bum-chum friends introduced me the song. But now I like it, I just don't know why lol. "Come on boys come on girls... in this crazy crazy world..." keeps playing in my head.

And the other one I like is Sweden. the title of the song is Popular and sung by Eric Saade. Actually, I don't really like the song. Well, I like but not much lol. only Eric is just too cute to be not liked! He is so fit! and I'm GRRRRRR when I read someone's comment on Eric: "Justin Bieber's brother?" holly coconuts! where the hell have your eyes gone? here's the video.

So, by integrating the 2 semifinals, we got the finalists wohoooo! (though still sad there's no Norway) and those are...

I personally will go for United Kingdom and then followed by Finland. IF United Kingdom didn't win, then it should be Finland. Who do you think will win? WATCH FINAL TONIGHT! :)

when yearning-him-feeling attacks...

there is this guy, Aleksandar Vrteski, who plays as a goal keeper for Indonesian Premier League team Solo FC. he is a friend of Brad Jones, that's one of the reasons why I really wanted to meet him. And then on Saturday (about long ago), Sasha and I went to the Sumantri Stadium to watch him play YAY FUCK YEAH EXCITED!
And... there we are! in the bloody stadium wohoo! we watched them play on VIP seat and I was like 'oh come ooooon Aleks don't let those arseholes score! you can do it!' haha. whistle blown. it's 2-1 for Solo FC yay! then after the game when the opponents already left the field, Solo FC players were still there. so were Aleks. I was still on my seat and discussed with Sasha if we should go down to the field or not.... and then I decided YUP I came to Aleks.

*body shaking* "hey Aleks nice game congrats! can I take a piture with you? just a moment?"
*hot smile* "thanks yeah ofcourse"

YEHAYYY :) got it!
The players were in the bus already and ready to leave the stadium. Sasha and I watched them living and waved them 'byeeee' and then one of the players, David Micevski, looked at us and formed a heart using his hands to us WOHOOO aww moment. and NOW, I miss Aleks really bad. miss all the players too! if only they played in Jakarta every game... hahah.
just now, my another friend, Adi, told Aleks (thru Twitter) that I miss him so fuckin freakin muchhhh. here's the result.

"GUYS"? hey Aleks it's ME who's missing you! not him so it shud've been "I miss you too" HAHA no problems though. hope to see ya in my dream tonight, Aleks.

Eurovision Song Contest 2011 First Semi Final

Eurovision Song Contest is back! it is the 56th and this year is held in Düsseldorf Arena, Germany. The 1st semi final has done on 10th May. 9 of 19 are out of the competition and the rest are going to final on May 14th. These are the 10 finalists:

It is such a pity that Norway didn't make it to the final. the song is good, got the beat, and I personally feel it sounds kinda world cup themed song. it's just energic! That's why I was so surprised that they're out. what the hell did Europe vote? Here I share you the video of Norway when in the 1st semi final.

But I have one favorite from this 1st semi final qualifiers. It's Finland! beautiful lyrics, good song, lovely voice.... for me, Finland deffinitely go 2nd after UK! if UK didn't win, so it must be Finland. Here you may enjoy the video.

Awesome isn't it? But I really hope this year's winner will be UK cause I just love this country and their song for this contest is splendid! Unlike last year when it's sung by Josh Dubovie, it is much better now and sung by Blue yay! I can't wait to see their awesomeness in the final! I'll share you the promotional video anyway!

And oh, tho I'm not from Europe but I really enjoy this show. I can't watch it live anyway but yet I watch it on YouTube haha thank god! so, who are your favorites?

Studi Belanda: Kompetiblog 2011

Last night, my best friend and I went to Erasmus Huis to watch the music performance. and then after that, I took the brochure about Kompetiblog 2011. it's already started since April until 12th may, heck yeah it's 10th may! I really want to join because the winner of this writing competition will be sent to summer school in Utrecht! OH GOD, I started writing then! and here it is....

"DANK JE, WILHELMUS!"

Wilhelmus van Nassouwe
Ben ik van Duitsen bloed
Den vaderland getrouwe
Blijf ik tot in den dood

Kutipan di atas diambil dari lagu kebangsaan yang tertua di dunia, The Anthem of Netherlands, Het Wilhelmus (The William).

Dank Je, Wilhelmus!
